About NBCC
- Our Purpose: Founded in 2017 by Frederick Harris, the purpose of New Beginnings Counseling Center is to empower patients in a safe and non-criticizing environment, and to develop skills to promote healing the wounds that has become a barrier for them to move forward in their lives. We encourage a transition from “Existing in Life” and to start “Living Life!”
- Our Mission: New Beginnings Counseling Center, LLC believes that “Everyone deserves to be the person they want to be in Life.” Our mission is to provide the highest quality, compassionate, and supportive services to our patients. We believe that healing begins with trust and guidance. New Beginnings Counseling Center, LLC will provide safe spaces for individuals, couples, and families to tell their stories while providing education to support and empower change. We facilitate this through promoting and modeling Whole Person, Whole Life, Wellbeing, Cultural Diversity, Values, Respect, Dignity, Individualization, Identity and Personal Responsibility.
- Our Vision: Our vision is to improve the lives of those living with behavioral health issues that causes life stressors. We assist with this by providing culturally competent, person-centered services that promotes social-emotional development. We help prevent and decrease mental health challenges by addressing social-emotional and environmental problems that currently exist. We enable this by using evidence-based strategies in our services to patients, and by implementing effective behavioral health consultation to children, adolescents, adults, families, and the community.
